Since retail sales in Colorado began a little over a year a ago, the lucrative marijuana business in Colorado has apparently caught the all seeing eye of high level executives at Kentucky Fried Chicken, wanting to get a piece of that "pot" pie. According to reports, the corporation thought it was brilliant idea to combine marijuana with their legendary fried chicken menu, and were approved early last month for a Marijuana Retail Recreational Occupational Business License from state authorities. marijuana-kfc In a statement from KFC spokesperson William Rausch to the Racket Report, "in order to be successful, a deep understanding of the market is critical to success. It's all about evolution and we are ready to serve the needs of the people of Colorado." What this means is that Coloradans with a valid I.D. and are over the age of 21, will now able to legally purchase at least an ounce of marijuana at a time within franchise KFC establishments, while out-of-towners will be held to a quarter ounce.
