Vaporizer Batteries FAQ

Can A Vape Battery Go Bad?

Yes, if the battery gets wet, is charged improperly (some should not be plugged into walls but should always be charged via computer ports), or is otherwise improperly treated, it can of course cease to function. If treated well, however, most high-quality vape batteries last for years.

How Long Does It Take To Charge A Dab Pen Battery?

Different vape battery models take different amounts of time to charge. Some can charge in as little as 30 minutes but most need at least 1 to 2 hours to fully charge.

How To Charge A Dab Pen

If it’s a micro-USB charger, simply plug the micro-USB into your pen and the other end into your computer without the cartridge. Sometimes, wall charging can overheat and ruin vape batteries and carts. If it’s one of the 510 threaded chargers, remove the cart and screw your dab pen onto the charging block that should have come with your device and plug it into your computer.

How Much Are Vape Batteries?

Vape batteries can cost anywhere between $5 and $50 depending on the make, model, materials, and other factors. If you’re just starting out, we recommend buying a simple pen-style vape battery that doesn’t cost more than $20. If you decide to upgrade, there are plenty of nicer and pricier options to choose from, though anything more than $50 is likely just overpriced.
